Care of the Most Vulnerable
31st October 2018
The Care of the Most Vulnerable workstream is based on key priority areas set out in Future in Mind and aims to improve outcomes for children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) or learning difficulties. It also supports children vulnerable to exploitation, looked after children, children in contact with the Youth Justice System/Youth Offending Teams or children who have experienced Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). ACEs can include sexual, emotional or physical abuse, neglect, domestic violence or substance abuse in the household, having a family member in prison or with a mental illness, abandonment through divorce or the death of a parent or close family member.
